In September 1990 I was invited as usual in Venice at the ceremony of literary Premio Campiello, which I had won in 1985. In the Court of Palazzo Ducale Mario Andreose, Chief Editor of Bompiani, introduced me to Erica Jong, who was in Italy to advertise the publishing of her novel Serenissima. I asked her if we could do an interview for the weekly magazine Amica (to which I contributed) and she very kindly accepted, so we scheduled it for a few days later in Milano.
Here it is.
A little bit long, but she was so funny and intelligent that we could not stop talking.
